vacation adventures

I know my poor blog is terribly neglected. I'm back and determined to do better! Hubby and I hit the road Fathers day weekend and took in the anual antique street fair in Walnut Iowa. This is always a fun day. It's tough to buy for re-sale at this show but good to see what's selling, getting great display ideas and always great food.

We left Walnut and headed down to Overland Park , Kansas to spend the weekend with my fav sister..bright and early Saturday morning we headed out to Raised in Cotton , a great little shop in Raymore MO. From there we went to Greenwood MO. where we enjoyed a morning of shopping in several very cool primitive style antique shops. We managed to leave with lighter wallets and hopes of going back some day. The pictures above are from the Greenwood shops.

Next post I'll tell about our much anticipated trip to Curious Sofa.

I received you note on my blog today about "leolasantiques.com". Computers have sure opened the world up for viewing. We love Curious Sofa & Greenwood. We were just there for her big sale. We'd love if you would drive on down to Ozark & check us out. There are also lots of flea mkts. in Ozark. We love to be tour guides & give people all our favorite haunts. I'm putting your site on my favorites. Thanks for checking. Jan W.
